1. Introduction & Legal Framework

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all activities, events, sports leagues, and membership programmes hosted by BIRMINGHAM SOCIAL & CULTURAL ORGANISATION (UK) CIC (Company number: 15140587). By applying for membership, purchasing tickets, volunteering, or attending BSCO venues, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Membership Rights & Obligations

Membership is open to all individuals and families supportive of BSCO's cultural, sporting, and social inclusion objectives.

• Membership is confirmed upon receipt of annual dues paid into our official CIC bank account.
• Members must maintain mutual respect, sportsmanship, and compliance with venue safety rules.
• Members may resign at any time upon written notification to the Executive Committee. Upon departure, all personal records are handled in strict adherence to our GDPR erasure policy.

3. Event Admissions, Tickets & Safety

For public celebrations such as Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, and cultural concerts:

• Attendees must follow all safety and fire regulations prescribed by the venue management and BSCO volunteer coordinators.
• Admission to specific dining halls or reserved seating sections may require a valid BSCO membership badge or event coupon.
• BSCO reserves the right to refuse entry or require individuals behaving in a disruptive manner to leave the premises.

4. Sporting Competitions & Health

Participants in BSCO Cricket Tournaments, Badminton Championships, and athletics matches acknowledge that sports activities carry inherent physical risk. Players participate voluntarily and are advised to maintain suitable physical fitness and personal insurance.

5. GDPR & Privacy Integration

All personal data collected through membership applications or event registrations is governed by our Privacy Policy. In accordance with our GDPR compliance statement, data is never sold or used for third-party marketing, and members have 15 days from submission to request written corrections or erasure.
